MUSKI workshops explained

MUSKI workshops introduce participants to the basics and some applications in the field of music and artificial intelligence (AI).

Questions that are addressed include: How can a computer process music? How is an AI trained? To what extent does AI already play a role in everyday music? Using low-threshold examples, the workshops convey some core concepts while remaining broadly accessible.

The workshops are aimed at a general audience. A special focus is put on young people between 12 and 18 years, as well as on teachers and multipliers. The content is equally well suited for people involved in the field of classical and new music, museums, science centers, educational institutions – and anyone who works in the field of communicating music and AI.

The special feature of the workshops are the interactive "explorable explanations" (short "explorables"). These are software programs with additional media for inquiry-based learning about the content. They offer an attractive starting point with gamification approaches and are structured in such a way that they enable a creative exchange with the learning materials.
